While keeping up with yesterday’s post is damn near impossible, I will say that today’s track definitely holds its own in the dance arena. “Stars” by Vicetone ft. Jonny Rose is an up lifting track that will no doubt put a smile on your face and give you the insatiable urge to start jumping around uncontrollably.
Pro Tip: avoid standing nearby lamps while listening…trust me, no good can come of it…same goes for any old women that happen to be in immediate vicinity…
Now buckle yourself in, because right from the start the track takes you on a roller coaster of buildups even before it reaches the first verse. Once you have a chance to catch your breath, the vocals kick in and you begin you ascent all over again… this time launching you face first into the wondrous chorus.
As you come down from your high, there is a brief lull followed by the return of the vocals which only serves to signal the impending buildup. You savor the calm before the storm and, without fail, the buildup begins (the smile on your face slowly begins to grow) and the drop just punches you across the face with all its force.
… you know, in a good way…
Okay, so maybe not so much a punch, but every time this track comes on I imagine the reaction of a crowd at a massive concert like Ultra, EDC, or Tomorrowland. After that amazing buildup, the drop would surely get the crowed raring to go and jumping around like a bunch of drug riddled kangaroos in a bounce house.
…so maybe what I really meant was an elbow to the nose?
